Depression Counseling to include mood related problems

Depression is a very real thing. Anyone who has experienced an episode or season of life of depression understands the reality of how it affects their life, loss of motivation, loss of control, and loss of hope to name just a few. I am trained and experienced in a variety of ways to treat depression and other related issues and symptoms. I use dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness to help you survive those most difficult times, and develop practical and effective coping skills, as well as increasing your self-awareness to have a life worth living. I am also about to use motivational interviewing to help you explore and figure out what goals you want to work towards and to keep working towards them.
